Let the adventure begin !

Small backholes scurried to dumped gravel into place.  People in hard hats labored to dig trenches while giraffe-like cranes whirred their buckets over the structure. The air pulsed with electricity! Wasn’t it just a few short months ago that this place didn’t even exist?  Wasn’t it just weeks since we scrutinized a pattern of lines on large paper?  Yet today we stood on freshly poured concrete with the sunlight streaming in between the bones of the girders and felt the energy of a long anticipated birth!!!

Conceived nearly four years ago by a handful of devoted UL staff and others, the dream was hammering, hoisting and hauling itself into reality. The dream, to be named the

Early Learning Campus, was to be a beautiful space where young children can happily explore and discover, where UL associates could enroll their children to learn and grow while they too were learning and growing, where a community of educated, dedicated and experienced staff honored each little wonder who entered their door.…That was the dream. And today in the midst of organized commotion, that dream was birthing around us as we marveled at its creation.

The adventure begins!!!

Stay tuned.
