Mission Mondays at the Planetarium

On July 21 at 7:30 p.m. the Mission Monday series will kick off at the Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium. Topics of the first session will be Mars exploration and updates on NASA’s Phoenix lander, which has been gathering rock and ice samples from the red planet since landing on May 25.

The 45-minute program will trace the Phoenix’s voyage from landing to current exploration through a video that features new imagery from the mission.

UofL planetary scientist, Kunio Sayanagi, will discuss the Mars exploration and answer audience questions.
