Get Healthy Now Recognized for its ROI

HealthFitness, a provider of integrated health promotion and fitness management solutions for Fortune 500 companies, has recognized UofL’s Get Healthy Now program for its exceptional results.

The Get Healthy Now program was created to help contain rising health care costs for over 4,000 university employees. Since then, the university has received nearly a 3:1 return on investment (ROI), saving millions on health care spending. Patricia Benson, instructor with the Health and Sport Sciences Department and director of Get Healthy Now, has been invited to present at the HealthFitness Executive Summit in June.

“Demonstrating positive ROIs is important to our health management program and the university. We can show money-saving results that define the programs success,” stated Benson.

HealthFitness’ Executive Summit is an invitation-only event, designed to provide valuable insight into current trends in health care innovation, reform and legislation, as well as best-in-class strategies for health management programs during turbulent economic times.
