You’ve Got the Write One Summer Portfolio Institute
Imagine kids being excited about solving math problems and improving their writing and technology skills. This dream becomes a reality during the “You’ve Got the Write One” institute where children look forward to going to school during summer break.

The institute, sponsored by Pepsi Americas of Louisville, is part of a larger two-week workshop that includes intensive training for teachers. Hands-on/Minds-on Summer Science Camp
Due to the success of the Pepsi Summer Portfolio Institute, faculty at the CEHD have designed a new summer camp program that is focused on science and education. The Hands-on Minds-on Summer Science Camp is being held jointly with the Lincoln Foundation for underserved children entering the Whitney Young Scholars program.

Local teachers wanting to improve their science teaching techniques will work with CEHD faculty to organize the camp. The two-week summer camp will run through Aug. 4. The program is made possible by generous donations from General Electric and E.ON U.S. Services.
