The Spring Research Conference, http://www.coe.uky.edu/src2007/, which was held on April 21, is jointly sponsored by UofL, the University of Cincinnati, and the University of Kentucky.

The UK College of Education was the host of the conference this year. The purpose of the conference is to provide students an opportunity to present research proposals in a friendly yet formal setting, and to get constructive feedback from faculty and colleagues.
“The presentations have become quite competitive over the last few years, and the research projects proposed have become more sophisticated,” stated Bob Ronau, associate dean for research and graduate studies. “One benefit of attending this conference is the opportunity to see students at these institutions engaged in significant research projects. The expectations for research at each of the schools are clearly becoming more advanced, and, more important for us, our students are making a good showing.” See photos of CEHD students at the conference.
