U.S.News & World Report has announced the top graduate schools for 2009
and the College of Education and Human Development has again made a
large jump in the rankings, this year moving from 66th to 56th place. In
just the last two years the college has moved up 43 places in the top
100 rankings of graduate education programs.
The College of Education and Human Development at the University of Louisville is now among the top 50 public colleges of education and human development in the nation. The rankings are based on the reputation of the college among its peers and the K-12 education community, research productivity and funding of its faculty, the quality of its graduate students, and a number of other core indicators.
The U.S. News rankings consider the top 278 graduate education
programs in the country. The CEHD’s continued improvement in the U.S.News & World Report rankings report reflects the hard work of the CEHD faculty, staff and students as well as the continuing support received from the President and Provost, other members of the President’s cabinet, and its partners in the community and university who have been essential to the college’s success.
