The Rauch Planetarium at the University of Louisville is offering the public a journey across the solar system through its newest show, The Planets, which debuts May 31 with a special celebration from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. The planetarium will also broadcast live the launch of the space shuttle at 5 p.m., (weather permitting at launch site).

The Planets provides an in-depth look at each planet and features imagery from NASA and the Hubble Telescope. The 37-minute show is narrated by actress Kate Mulgrew, best known for her role in Star Trek: Voyager, and is geared for middle to high-school students.
