A million-dollar commitment from long-time supporters Lewis S. “Sonny” and Gladys Bass will help launch the Scholar House project, a partnership among Project Women, UofL and the Kentucky Housing Corp., which will help single mothers earn their college degrees. Louisville Scholar House will be a 56-unit development that will provide housing for single mothers trying to earn their college degrees at UofL and other local colleges and universities. The facility will also include an early childhood development program managed by the College of Education and Human Development.
