Dr. Frank Wilczek to Speak at Lecture Event

The University of Louisville Department of Physics and Astronomy is hosting the first annual Andrew Chamblin Memorial Lecture. The guest speaker will be Dr. Frank Wilczek, Nobel Laureate.

The lecture will be held Thursday, April 16, 2009, 7:30 p.m., at the Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium. The event is free and open to the public.

Department of Teaching and Learning Wins Weber Award

CEHD’s Department of Teaching and Learning (T&L) was selected in a competitive awards process to receive the 2009 Paul Weber Award for Departmental Excellence in Teaching. The award was created in memory of Dr. Paul Weber, a distinguished teacher, scholar and mentor at UofL.

Minority Education Summit to be Held at UofL
