ELFH Department to Host New Speaker Series

The Department of Leadership, Foundations and Human Resource Education at the CEHD is hosting a new speaker series. Dr. Warner Burke, who holds the Edward Lee Thorndike Professorship of Psychology and Education at Columbia University’s Teachers College, will be the first guest speaker for the series on Monday, March 30, 2015, 10 – 11:30 a.m., Chao Auditorium in Ekstrom Library.

Dr. Burke is a Diplomate in I/O psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Management, the American Psychological Society, the Society Industrial and Organizational Psychology; past editor of both Organizational Dynamics and The Academy of Management Executive; and current Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Science. He has authored over 100 articles and book chapters in organizational psychology and authored, co-authored, or edited 14 books. Dr. Burke’s scholarly interests include learning agility; behavioral practices associated with superior leaders and managers and their performance; organizational culture; leading and managing organization change; and organizational diagnosis and change.
