The summit is also hosted by the Partnership for a Green City, Jefferson County Public Schools, Brightside, Louisville Metro and UofL.
The Bioneers Conference will be held October 16-18, 2009, at San Rafael, CA and will be videoconferenced to the planetarium. The event is sponsored by the CEHD Center for Environmental Education, Your Environmental Road Trip (YERT), and the Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium.
The Bioneers Conference features national scientists who will share innovative social and scientific ideas that address global environmental problems. Local scientists will gather at the planetarium to attend workshops, panel discussions and participate in eco tours.
