September 24, 2010 in College News, Planetarium News

Experience the story of Perseus and Andromeda as never before through the eyes of local radio personalities Ben Davis and Kelly K as they give you a tour of the autumn night sky at the Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium.

Drama. Suspense. Battles. Heroes. The autumn sky has it all. Don’t miss out on the free premier of this fun and entertaining – yet informative – journey through the heavens on Friday, October 8, at 7 p.m.

The planetarium will also feature the Autumn Edition of live star talk, Skies Over Louisville, at 8 p.m., with a special admission rate of $5 per person (regular rate: $7 adults; $5 kids, seniors and UofL faculty, staff and students).

Wait there’s more! Louisville Astronomical Society will have telescopes in the courtyard after the 8 p.m. live star talk so you can get up close and personal with the autumn constellations (weather permitting).

If you can’t make it to the free premier, don’t worry. The Ben Davis and Kelly K Tour of the Night Sky will be offered throughout the autumn season – check our online schedule for details: http://louisville.edu/planetarium/events.
