Sandhu Honored as ACA Fellow

Daya Singh Sandhu, professor and former Chair of the CEHD’s Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology, was recently named by the American Counseling Association (ACA) as an ACA Fellow.
ACA Fellows are members of distinction who have been recognized for significant and unique contributions in professional practice, scientific achievement and governance, or teaching and training, and the counseling profession. Dr. Sandhu was presented the honor at ACA’s annual conference in March 2012.
Dr. Sandhu’s other distinguished awards include the Fulbright Senior Research Scholar Award; Fulbright Senior Specialist Award; Fulbright-Nehru Senior Research Award; and two Kentucky Counselor Educator of the Year Awards, 2000 and 2011. He also serves as the Founding Executive Director of the Association of Mental Health Counsellors Amritsar, Punjab, India which was launched in May 2010.
