The Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium is gearing up for explorer workshops, exciting laser shows and the annual Fright Light Event! Come join us for all the fun.

Cosmic Explorer Workshops: Lights, Energy…You’re a Star
October 11, 2 – 4 p.m.

The fastest thing in the universe isn’t a car or an animal, or even a space ship. It’s light! Everything, even you, gives off light, and it comes in many wonderful colors. In this workshop, families learn about the light that fills the universe, and how scientists use this light to decode the secrets of the universe. Activities include arts and crafts, hands-on experiments and interactive demonstrations.

Cost per workshop: Members – $20; Non-members – $25.
