SPAD Club Hosts Annual Golf Event

The CEHD's Sport Administration Program (SPAD) hosted its 13th annual golf scramble on April 21. The event was nearly a sell-out and raised $5,500 for SPAD scholarships and the Boys and Girls Club Triple Play Program. Read More »

Sport Administration Doctoral Student Wins National Research Paper Award

The Sport Administration Program in the College of Education and Human Development is pleased to announce that doctoral student, Marion Hambrick, has been selected as a recipient of the Bernard Patrick Maloy Outstanding Graduate Student Research Paper for 2008, an award presented each year by the Sport and Recreation Law Association. Marion will receive a $500 award and present his research paper entitled Putting the Brakes on Corporate Sponsorship: AT&T Mobility, LLC v. NASCAR at the 2008 Annual Meeting of the Sport and Recreation Law Associate in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, February 28-March 1, 2008. Read More »

Campus Fiesta Educates Students about Finance

In March 2006, the CEHD Advising Center and Center for Economic Education hosted their first financial literacy activity for CEHD students called "Financial Fiesta."
